Xelium provides the following services, to enhance the user's experience:
- NickServ NickServ provides nickname management functions for Xelium's users. NickServ allows you to register your nickname, and prevent others from using it. NickServ also stores information about the registered nicks, including, but not limited to: the last time the nick was online and an URL that can be set by the user. Furthermore, NickServ allows you to set your timezone and preferred language, so the services will interact with you in the way you want.
- ChanServ ChanServ is the channel management tool for the network's users. It enables the user to register channels to prevent them from being taken over by others. It also enables the user to give privileges to other users, like auto-opping or enabling them to perform certain commands through ChanServ (kick, ban, etc). ChanServ can also be used to deny other users access to the channel or the ability to gain operator privileges. ChanServ may be used to lock the topic and modes, to prevent anyone but the ones granted access to change those. If a channel ever gets empty, ChanServ remembers it's last settings and resets them the next time the channel is used again.
- MemoServ You know the drill: you need to tell one of your friends something important, but after hours of waiting, they're still offline. Fear not, because MemoServ is here! MemoServ enables you to send a "memo" (a message) to other users, even if they're not online, and they will be notified of it next time they come online.
