X is a channel management bot that can set modes, kicks, bans, changes topic, etc. The channel owner and operators can login to X to gain ops in the channel, or the channel can be set to NoOp mode, where X is the only op in the channel but those with access can use the bot to perform all operator actions. X can also be set to a variety of languages. CService registers users and channels and manages Undernet's channel service bot. Channels are expected to be established and meet certain requirements in order to obtain X, and owners must remain active and maintain a certain level of traffic or the bot will be purged.

Registered users can mode themselves +x when on IRC and hide their hostmask from users. IRC ops can still see your regular IP.

The CService help channel is #cservice Undernet also has chanfix (C) that will automatically reop opless channels. This service has no commands.
