Our network is reliant on SrvX (http://www.srvx.net) The following services are accessable to normal users.
ChanServ: Service bot that allows the users who own channels or users on a channel to moderate it with its wide category of commands.
HandleServ: Service bot that maintains your "handle" account on the network. (You must have a handle to register a channel.)
HelpServ: Service bot used in #help to aid opers in regulating users in need of help. When waiting for a helper's assistance the user can PM the bot to tell their future helper what their issues are. (The message will be auto redirected.)
Two other services remain. Read on if you'd like to know about them.
Global: Service bot to opers; this bot maintains the MOTD messages that are sent to all users who log on to one of the network's servers.
OpServ: Service to opers; this bot manages the networks backend such as glines, gags, and other SrvX specific information that is useful for opers. |
