In addition to the usual services one finds on IRC, the Taphouse has BotServ; which allows users to have multi-functioning bots in their channels that they dont have to make or maintain themselves. This bot can remember things that are taught to it using the !learn command and can perform channel protection duties (op'ing, de'oping, etc.) The only thing you need do is contact an IRCOP so they can assign the name you want for your bot. We also have Hostserv, which allows your IP and other personal information to be hidden from other users and replaced with a host of your choosing, again you need to contact and IRCOP to get your new host assigned. We also run an idleRPG channel, and a trivia channel (see the webpage for more info) You may /msg *services_name* help with any of these services for more information after you log in. |
