SwiftIRC is currently using a modified version 1.7.17 of the Anope services development branch.

We are keen to exploit the benefits that an SQL database can provide in terms of IRC/services data. However, we feel that Anope provides neither the functionality, nor the performance that we require. As a result we are considering developing our own services package, exclusively for use on SwiftIRC.
