Our network currently has services. The databases are encrytped, which means, that no irc operator or administrator has access to any passwords made by the users. If a user forgets his or her password, a new password may be set by an operator, whereupon the user may reset his or her password to liking, which shall also be unrecoverable. We do this because we believe in our users' utmost privacy - as many users choose the same passwords for many accounts outside IRC. If a user needs help with services, asking in our main channel or any channel on the network would provide the help they need - as our users and ircops are always willing to help someone out! |
