We currently have services in form of NickServ, ChanServ and MemoServ.
What you can do with them is to register your nick with NickServ and make sure no one else is using it.
You can also register your channel with ChanServ so no one can do a "take over" on it, and make sure that you always can get oped.
MemoServ is used to send messages to registered users that is offline. They will then get there message as soon as they identifies themself with NickServ again. |
