Neko-Net's Services
Our services can be catagorized into 3 main groups: Regular, Fun, Statistical. Our regular services include options which everyone is familiar with like NickServ to register and protect one's nickname, ChanServ; usable to register a channel you like, BotServ which can be used to assign one of our channel bots; W is used for new channels, Z will be assigned if your channel has been around for a while and has proven to be serious. Last but certainly not least: HostServ enables you to customize your hostname to some extend (there are rules involved; your hostname may not resolv unless the domain is actually yours (our opers check on this), fun names are allowed but you have to be kept decent. We don't allow 'i.dont.think.the.rules.apply.to.me.on.this.net' and stuff like that). Last but not least our SeenServ who can help you find someone on the network. No more need to search all channels your friend might have visited. Ofcourse you can always leave him a note through MemoServ. Our fun services provide just that. Use LoveServ to send messages or gestures to a special someone on the network or boost morale using MoraleServ. Wish to serve virtual drinks? Then you can pick up a barmaid on #nekobots and ask it to join your channel. Its all fun, nothing (too) serious. And if you get tired of getting asked 'a/s/l' then you can store your profile in 'ProfileServ' and point people to it when they wish to know. Last but not least; the statistical service. If you like to keep track of the development of our network you can turn on wallops (/mode +w) so you get informed the moment where our network is breaking some records (like the amount of users or users on a single server, amount of opers, amount of channels, etc.).
