Network runs on Linux Redhat Enterprise 5.0. We have a total of 4 servers running, located all over the USA with speeds of 100Mbit Full duplex, that means it uses its true speed not like 5/10mbits.
Our servers are firewall protected, including DOS protection with auto nulling of offending IPS, which is a huge benefit as anyone in the IRCD community will know. All servers have numerous connections to the Internet backbone, utilizing BGPv4 to transmit route information, including AboveNet, XO Communications, Global Crossings, Time Warner, and Level3. All connections to our Internet backbone carriers are gigiabit (or greater) over divergent optical paths.

Network has standard IP masking so your IP/DNS will not be shown in the channel or network. l use, (example: @0verfl0w-9C384CAF.cable.wanadoo.nl) thats what people will see.
