Rizon is one of the world's largest IRC networks, mainly due to its liberal policies that allow for types of channels that are forbidden on other networks. Unfortunately with size comes problems - Rizon has been the target of severe DDoS attacks this year. Rizon currently hosts over 4500 channels and holds over 32000 users with 45+ servers. Rizon has recently implemented a Geo DNS system allowing users to be auto routed to the server nearest them using the main irc.rizon.net dns.
