The IRC-GLOBAL Network:
IRC-GLOBAL is a publicly accessible, stable and dependable IRC network. Network servers are located within the United States, France, Germany, and Hungary. As a default privacy / security measure, every user's address (IP or host name) is concealed from other users. Freedom and privacy for users are top priorities on IRC-GLOBAL. Staff members are always friendly and accommodating. Individuals and hobby groups are welcome on the network.
IRC-GLOBAL is as well the anchor-point for the Global Chat Network Linking System (please see details below).
Multiple-Network Relay:
IRC-GLOBAL Communications has developed, and hosts, a multiple IRC network cross-linking architecture known as the Global Chat Network Linking System. In portal fashion, this system interconnects 17 IRC networks to a common channel on each network (the channel name is either #GLOBAL or #GLOBAL-Link, depending upon the network). The networks currently cross-linked by the system are: IRC-GLOBAL, DALnet, UnderNet, EFnet, IRCnet, QuakeNet, GameSurge, FreeNode, WebChat, NewNet, StarChat, P2P-NET, SwiftIRC, SynIRC, AustNet, euIRC, and LinkNet. All chat lines entered within our cross-linked channels on any of these networks (as well as joins, parts, nick changes, etc.) are instantaneously relayed to the counterpart channels on the other 16 networks. Currently, the system is open for general chat. International participation is welcome and encouraged. English is the primary language and should be used when possible.
