UniBG is the largest Bulgarian IRC network. The network is in the top10 biggest IRC networks according to the independent statistical data of http://irc.netsplit.de/. Most of the users of the network are Bulgarians, but the network is open for foreigners, offering full bi-lingual interface to it's services and help.

I am going to write here about the ONLY REAL bulgarian IRC Network. Cool :-) It's a nice place. It's OK. It's almost stable (Regardless some Network Splits from timw to time) There would be spoken mostly in bulgarian. It has not accomplished even 10 years of live wich means that maybe some more time must go by untill it UniBG would take its place as a serious NEtwork with some 50 000 users on it. I do believe that UniBG is still a young IRC network. It has a great potential for growing. It is a nice reflection of what I would call Computer Educated Society in my country. And this Society grows within days. The LAMER society in bulgaria still is very large in number but I belive that this status will change. In Bulgaria there ARE many people who do chat. But Bulgaria is not so big at all. We are about 8 million. There is also a big number of people who would use ICQ or some other program to comunicate just as it is in other countries too.
