SGWirc is a service setup for all fans of Stargate Worlds and Stargate in general! It is of course completely free of charge. You can register your own channels but only if they're related to Stargate in some way. The main channel is #Stargate-Worlds, for support go to #support.

This IRC network is in no way associated directly with CME. It is a community driven network.

The network itself is made up of *nix servers positioned around the globe. The servers are either donated or bought by dedicated Stargate fans. Most of the time, you will be able to see if the server you are on has been either donated or bought in the /MOTD. They're running Nefarious, an IRC server software that literally groups together many other IRC server features out in the wild from other IRC networks. Many thanks go out to all the people who wish to donate their time to this project.
