PhreekNet was first set up as a meetingpoint of some linux-users, which've known each other from other networks/forums before. Also it hosts regional channels of Kiel/Gettorf (Germany). the network is used mostly by german users and thatfor the services and the page are german. it may be changed, when more english-speaking are around there.
