Eu-irc is the recent merger of five networks, so as such they surely have a few bugs to work out. However by all report things are running smoothly. The network, which started off with a userbase of 2500, is well supported by a knowledgable staff, good services, and stable proven servers. You can use the round robin of irc.eu-irc.net, and each IRC Server has a SSL Connection on Port 6660
