ECNet would like to give you and your community a place to support your needs, to chat with people around the world, and to call home. ECNet values our atmosphere of familiarity that comes with our small-town like ambiance, and we're still large enough to give you all the luxuries you might expect from a larger network.

• Although we don't have the largest channels, we have several unique, active communities who use our network. Some of the channels on ECNet include a Latino channel, a channel for disabled people, a laser channel, personality-based channels, and several role-play channels.
• We have several technical protections in place to combat spam-bots and other similar disruptions. These protections are finely tuned to minimize interruptions while also minimizing collateral damage.
• ECNet takes network operator abuse much more seriously than other networks. Our administration is set up in a way that checks the power of those in charge and gives our users a way to contest network action they feel was inappropriate.
• Our staff is pretty good with the technical aspects of running a network, but we like to focus our efforts on customer services. We want to make sure you're satisfied when you use our network, and we believe that a good network starts with pleased users.
• We're always looking for new ideas that might help improve the network, and we would like to hear what you have to say. Let us know what you think about us, what you think we're doing right, and how you feel we could improve.
