A primary purpose of DeepSpace is to accomodate the disabled, their family, and friends. Therefore, the network is family oriented, formed in order to give a safe, stable, comfortable place to chat with others of all ages, views, and backgrounds.

To people with various disabilies access the network, it has been designed with special coding to allow for screen readers and special software used by their chatters. DeepSpace has channels for Retinitis Pigmentosa Usher's Syndrome, Autism, Asperger, and Lupus.
