- 1. By connecting to this network you agree to abide by the -rules set forth
- here whether you actually read them or not.  The Virtual-sin -IRC Network
- waives all liability for civil or criminal action.

- 2. Effective July 9, 2007, Virtual-sin and all of its linked
- servers only allow people age 16 or older, or the age legally considered an
- adult in your state/province. If known that you are not an adult, you will
- be banned until you turn 18.

- 3. We do not allow:

-       Harassment
-       Flooding
-       Beastiality
-       Pedophilia
-       Spam/War/xDCC Bots

- All of these topics/actions are rude and illegal. They will -not be tolerated.
- Harassment includes harassment for pictures, phone numbers, -cybersex, etc.
- You will be given NO warnings - it is an automatic permanent -ban.

- Non-destructive or non-illegal bots are welcome, provided they -are parked in
- #bots at all times they are connected to Virtual-sin IRC -Network. If the bot
- is not willingly parked in #bots then the admins reserve the -right to remove
- the bot from the network.

- 4. If it is found that you are abusing the services we provide -for free to you,
- the staff may ban you from the network for however long they -feel your abuse
- deems necessary. No warning is required here but may be -provided.

- 5. Any threats made to/about/on the Virtual-Sin IRC Network or -its staff and/or
- users will be taken seriously and you will be banned -permanently and/or
- reported to the appropriate authorities.

- 6. For anything not covered here: use common sense. If it's -liable to get you
- in legal trouble, then we suggest you follow the advice given -in Sex Ed class
- and just don't do it.

- 7. Do not create problems for other users of this network just -to close their
- chat client, part a channel, disconnect from this server, or -otherwise make
- their chat client do something that they probably would not -want it to do.
- You would think this would fall under the common sense rule, -but apparently
- some people are still fuckwads.

- 8. Impersonating any Chat  staff member or another Chat  user -will
- result in you being banned for a specific amount of time. -Repeat offenders may
- be permanently banned.
