- Flooding, advertising, spamming, harassment, and child porn are not
- permitted. Also, do not whine- most of the people here are adults, and
- it is expected that everyone act like it. Make requests responsibly, and
- respectfully. If you do not like the way someone runs their channel, take
- it up with them. If you are not happy with their resolution, then feel free
- to make your own channel or leave the network.

- Do not beg for op privileges. Only those that deserve it will earn it.

- Ops, do not abuse your privileges. Kicking and bans are not to be
- treated as toys. You have earned your op privileges because you have been
- deemed to be a mature individual responsible enough to have those privileges.

- Earning ops is not a matter of how long you have been on this network. If you
- are a responsible op on another network, you may be offered op privileges here
- rather quickly.

- Do not bug admins and other ops about getting op privileges; as this could
- possible lead you to a ban, or completely ruin your chances of getting ops.

- Ops, please do not give ops to people liberally. By doing so, you could be
- placing too much power in the hands of those that should not have it. Full ops
- privileges in someone else's channel should not to be given without authorization
- from the channel owner(s). However, it is generally ok to give someone half-op
- privileges if you wish to trial them for op. NOTE: The channel owner reserves
- the right to govern his/her channel(s) as they see fit. The afforementioned are
- merely a suggestion for rules concerning ops.

- and servers on the HackersUnited/TechCentral IRC Network (HU.TC) As a
- user of these resources, you are responsible for reading and understanding
- this AUP. This document is responsible for the rights of
- HackersUnited, Tech Central, ur servers, our system administrators, and
- you our users.

- 1) Your connection to the HackersUnited/CafeContinent IRC Network is a
- privilege, NOT a right. We Reserve the right to deny any user access to our netwo

- without warning, and without obligation to define a reason. When a reason may be
- provided, it is done so at our sole discretion. Any user who disrupts
- the network or any server will lose access to the network.
