- Welcome to the GameDemon IRC network. This is a gaming oriented network
- that strives to accomodate as many gamers as possible. If you like it
- here, please come back and especially invite your friends. If there is
- something you don't like, you may voice your issues with any of the
- admins. We will be glad to work with you on any network/game related
- needs. Also, if there are any problems with any admins, feel free to
- voice those issues as well.

- QUICK PRIMER FOR IRC, SPECIFICALLY THIS NETWORK

- Chatting on IRC requires the use of a nickname, so that people know who
- you are. You are free to change your nick as you please, however there
- are safeguards that are in place to protect your desired nick, once you
- have decided on one.

- To register your nick, type in the command /ns register password email
- and press enter. "Password" is your desired password, and "email" is
- your email address. Note that both are required to register your nick.

- Once you have registered a nick, you will need to authenticate with
- Nickserv every time you come on the network. To do so, the command is
- /ns identify password
- Where "password" is your password you chose when u registered your
- nick. For any further help with Nickserv, please use the command
- /ns help
