Zoelife4U IRC was founded on April 19, 2004 by two opennap regulars who grew tired of the strange rules and strange politics found on these nets. By January of 2005, the network consisted of almost 100 users and servers in Italy, Sweden, the UK, and the USA, with visitors all over the world, from Malaysia, Canada, Isreal, Turkey, Germany, Estonia and many more. Around January of 2006, a major blow came to the network, when one of the founding members disappeared from the internet and his server went down, never to come back, other server admins either became to busy with family or school to adequetley maintain their servers and also fell away. For many months, the other founding member of the net struggled and managed to keep one room active, and as of January 2007, many of the former users who had visited during the heyday of the network have returned and brought friends with them.
