O2 Networks came to life on January 1, 2006 over a conversation the network owners, dirty100 and Spyral, had. Spyral, aka. tek9 or sp0rk, had previously ran an irc network called NorthStar, but decided to shut it down due to undisclosed reasons. While NorthStar was up, it was one of the most stable networks around. With that in mind, O2 Networks is set to continue that tradition. The idea of the O2 Networks irc network is to provide a back-bone for our websites and services. O2 Networks will continue to live on and add more to its history.
