The FireFly IRC Network began in 2009. The network was owned and operated by David Ward, our current co-owner, and co-owned and operated by Dave Russell, our current owner. The two family members switched their positions and FireFly IRC Network will continue to grow with a new management! In 2009, our attempts failed miserably. By 2010, we had shut down due to lack of people and ignoring of the network. In 2010, we decided to take another attempt. It failed again, but this time because of the lack of funds and lack of people. We have attempted in the past in between 2011 and 2010, but all attempts have failed due to lack of funds. We have come back in 2012 with a new economy and a new fund bank that we hope to keep at least 95% of the current amount with interest so that we can afford all of our servers.

We thank all of our staff and administration for their help in the past and in the future as well as the present. We also thank all of our users who have been with us and all the users that are reading a bit about us for all they do!
