The euIRC was born on the idea to create a network without net splits, takeovers and script kiddies.
After a testing stage the euIRC officially started on January, 1st 2000. At the beginning there were 5 servers and just a few hundred users.
But this changed rapidly and the network grew continuously. A few years ago it tampered with some DDOS attacks, but the users kept loyal to it.
Meanwhile the euIRC established as one of the 25 largest IRC networks worldwide. Now there are up to more than 9,000 users online every evening. | |
