PART 1
Some words at begining:
Established at the cold winter of 2003 with big help of startx (BGChat IRC Network). We started with a simple hybrid irc deamon and some services, we dont have many users. Some weeks after establisment of the network, users started to connect. They like the rules, friendly operators and administrators. The users started asking about new services, updates, with great recommendations and questions. Our team updating and updating, every day we have a new feature. Now our network have all that our users want.
PART 2
History:
The network started with 3 servers - irc.zone-bg.org (now irc.zone-bg.net), irc.avtobusni-prevozi.net and bbox.homeunix.net. We have been linked in BGChat network, but this network grows everyday with a
many servers. In one moment in network are full of admins/opers, and network staff started "fighting".
We started linking servers and at 1 month after establish we have 13 servers, but problems with staff appear again... there was a "colorfull" fight with many jupes etc. After we fixed problems our network has only 5 servers.
In May 2004 we linked the first foreing server - zsuatt.org.
A week after zsuatt, we linked one Romanian Server - hell.zone-bg.net.

Network name:
It is called Zone-BG because our idea is to make new, and modern IRC Zone for Bulgarian people. | |
