The Xalaris IRC Network was founded in December of 2005 when a couple of friends from a larger network decided to come together and create a place where all of theur friends could chat and not have to worry about lag, netsplits, or things of that nature.

The founders of Xalaris then decided to branch out and form a public IRC network. We don't have a specific theme or anything of that nature, we are just a general chatting network. Our users and our dedicated staff or one of the reasons for our existence.

Our network is governed by a basic set of guidelines that we refer to as the Usage Policy. These rules are in place to ensure that everyone enjoys chatting on our network and keeps coming back. We feel that everyone should be able to openly express their ideas, ideals, and beliefs without having to fear repercussions from Network Administrators.

The Xalaris Staff is here to ensure that everyone has a good time chatting, and we do our best to weed out the trouble makers.
