WaveChat was setup in August 2003 by Dan (Hawk) and Chris (heinz). Their aim was to create a network for more sensible users to chat, away from the less mature, and the Warez that plagues IRC.
WaveChat have now grown to a respectable IRC Network, and host chats for several sites, and gaming communities, such as ones from Planetia, and Orkfia.
