Warscape IRC began in late 2002 / early 2003 as the central IRC service for the Multiplayer Online Strategy Game "Warscape". (A Planetarium/EmpireQuest style game). The game still exists today but is no longer supported by its staff.
The IRC network, however, remains open as a chat server for the players and friends.
