Our channel got tired of the current IRC network we were on, so one of us set up an ircd and the channel moved there. After a week that server went down because of temporary problems, so to have somewhere to go another person set up an ircd. When the first ircd got rid of its problems, the two linked, and that was the start of WarIRC. Back then it was called ShadowNet, but after a year another server joined us. We then bought a domain and that is how WarIRC got started. | |
