We originally started out as a chat room #ufc-pride on irc.rizen.net. several years ago... Rizen merged with Rizon and became a little unstable (lots of net splits)
We moved our chat room and purchased a server to connect to irc.ultra-irc.net. That too became a little to unstable. Due to lack of control over our channels etc we decided to create our own independant network.
Our servers run Unreal 3.2 ircd.
UFC-pride now run server side bots for trivia, iddlerpg, channel control etc
