TotalIRC was founded Sunday 30. November 2002 by DjMadness along with close friends, that was tired of alot of the issues over IRC. (ie network downtime)
Most of the staff currently are people that know eachother close, either through years of IRC chatting, or through real life.
After alot of neglection from the staff's side we lost a great deal of our userbase, but we are over that part again, bringing new life to the network.

Our main source of people currenly is run by our free BNC service, to provide BNC's for other IRC networks, but we are working on more projects as time goes by.
