The THAT irc server started out as a small, private server used by the Telepresence Heavy Assault Team - a Tribes clan. It expanded to being the home of many of the New Zealand/Australian Tribes and Tribes 2 clans, and then further to being the main community irc server.
The main games related channel on the server is #tribesnz. It was originally established on the undernet network, however, after a long and successful existance there it was decided to move it to the THAT server. Other game channels are #war3, #wow, #daoc, #eq2 as well as many clan channels.
