The network started in August of 2004 in response to HBO needing a new home for its channel.
We have been running Shadow IRCd since the beginning.
The nodes for the network are all controlled by Subnova Core. The shell accounts are provided by sites that use the network for their own channels.
In April of 2005, the network hit a new population record of 180. Average population was running around 130. With Bungie soon to better advertise their official channel on the network, the userbase is expected to explode.

At the end of October, 2005, the network came back to life with a revitalization of Subnova and an overhaul of the IRC network. Now running on Unreal IRCd. | |
