Here is in short how it all started:
MGS3 = Metal Gear Solid 3, it is game for PS2. In middle of year 2003 Gizmo967 bought the www.mgs3.org domain name in purpose of creating fan site. When the web site was finished, chat was also created. Chat was dns to some IRC server as irc.mgs3.org so it would be easier to menage it. The server where chat room was hosted got closed. Then Gizmo967 got to idea to run test IRC server, and created irc.mgs3.org... In first it was created for fun. Then a friend moved his channel to irc.mgs3.org. From that point MGS3.org IRC Network was starting its work for real. Gizmo967 is the one that started it, but the man who helped him the most was dr_trade! That is about it in short how MGS3.org IRC Network was created.
