Kicky was founded in November 2005 by 4 people, GTX, cal, metroid and finally Swinder.
The idea first started when I(cal) was running an IRC bot service, and I decided the name 'Kicky' - now I needed someone to host the bot service, so I had a little chat with a friend called GTX, and he agreed, then we needed a developer for the service, metroid, another friend known for ages.
GTX then had an idea, an, IRC network, and asked one of his partners in ProBNC and a good friend of cal's 'Swinder' to be part of it. So since 6th November 2005 - we have been running this IRC network, dedicated to gamers and developers! | |
