The server Bahamout was first started as an IRC server connected to IRCUnion, it became very popular with interactive gamers, so the server owner decided to make it a Interactive Gaming server, aimed at the Interactive Gaming audiences only, within time it started to attract scripters, and designers. So it was known as a Interactive Gaming & Scripting / Programming server. It was growing slowly, but there was no doubt that bahamout had potential.

The server delinked from IRCUnion, to link to a new Network, that would be managed by Joey and Scotty. Joey the owner of irc.rsaquiline.net and Scotty the owner of irc.bahamout.net. We created a new Network called Insulo, we merged our servers into one network. Eventually we attracted more servers, such as irc.iceirc.net, irc.orangeirc.net and irc.shadowirc.net. All of the servers together made a userbase of around 30. This is a lot of achieve within a time period of one month of Insulo launching.

Eventually, the networks owners decided that Insulo needed to move to a more populated network, so all of the Insulo networks delinked from each other and went there separate ways. Insulo is now linked to Makaiwell Network. Bahamout was then a network run alone. The network staff decided that Bahamout was not an appealing and appropriate name for a network from a first impression view, so a new domain name was created, and we are now known as Idealchatters.net. Insulo was relinked back to Idealchatters, as it is now becoming successful as a gaming server.

Idealchatters recently made a partner, MJay from elitecams. He has high goals and aims for the future of interactive gaming, but gaming in which involves IRC, connect and ask him more if your interested! Idealchatters has been running smoothly for over two months now, and our population is increasing by the day! We knew there would be competition, but some how we didn't expect to have made so much progress within such little time.

Idealchatters took a huge launch for the runescape clan community, and offered lots of benefits to try and attract the clans to us. Over a period of 3 days, the population of idealchatters went from 40 - 160. The network is now filled with successful runescape clans which are enjoying using our services.
