The HazeNET IRC network was founded in October of 2003. The sole purpose of HazeNET is to provide a pleasant and safe chatting environment and all it has to offer for other IRCers and new comers. All of our staff are volunteers and our network is free to chat on. We hope to build a community of users in an environment which is stable, as well as a comprehensive framework of network and additional services catering to our users.
HazeNET staff were once IRC users, which means we understand you as a user and thus able to provide you with non-jaded ideas for a IRC Network. Our helpful and knowledgeable staff are always on call to help you with any problem you may have on the network, as well as other problems within our knowledge. We are dedicated to keeping a safe, clean chatting environment free of spammers, floodbots, etc. as many big networks do not. We will keep you, the user, our number-one priority.
There are multiple committees on HazeNET including PRCom, WebCom, and NetCouncil. These committees are here to help keep the network in an orderly manner.
