hmm history of dac-zaandam irc network starts in august 2006 first offline on my local network with testing of ircd servers, first IRCD server what i running was PTlink ircd but i have change that to UnrealIRCD. on 28-08-2006 the final test are finshed and i was looking for a place to setup a network, first on a ircdhosting(this is now users.dac-zaandam.nl) and the mainserver running now on a VPS. with al services and bots it's was always my favorite hobby to run a ircd server but since begin this year i was thinking about setting up a network for everbody.

we are starting a new fase in our search for better and secure chat network, we starting to work with Silverchat Internet Solutions. this company make some things better for use, we can take more users then before about 10k (wild guest)

we are also looking for people who wants help to make our network bigger.
