A long long time ago on a network far away... well not really... a few users got together and decided to start an irc network. Through experimentation they discovered that UnrealIRCd best suited their needs. After a little bit of consideration they decided they would need more servers to handle the users so a few links were introduced to handle the forseen userload. After some time with no more than 20 users cyanide-x fell into user richness, another chatnetwork offended a few large gaming channels (including http://kingsofchaos.com), at which time they moved to Cyanide-x. We have recently linked with the IRC server for http://www.giveupalready.com, a large web-forum. | |
