In 1999, Christian-IRC was founded by 2 young gentlemen, Josh Hollifield and Chuck Flanders. The server went from running on IP's and Josh's Cable Internet and his computer to a Linux shell. After a couple months they met up with Micah Mitchell, who bought our first domain for us, Christian-IRC.com. We went along fine, and moved our hosting to a dedicated Linux server. After a while, problems arose in the management, and Micah decided it was time for him to leave the Christian-IRC ministry of chatters and took the domain with him. So due to reasons beyond our control we were forced to change our domain to Christian-IRC.net in 2002.

After that, we met up with Fifty States Press and their Tech Guy, Daniel McIntosh. He helped out the server GREATLY due to the financial problems Christian-IRC was having. He payed for the new domain, and the 2 servers on Linux Shell accounts with OC-12 Backbone access to the net.

Now, three years on, we have three client servers - one on a shell account and two on dedicated servers. Josh has since left the ministry, but we have had many more staff join. With staff from the U.S.A., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, you're likely to find help whenever you need it.
