We are a group of Desi friends from Connecticut (USA), who started our social chat network project back in 1998 while still in school. Initially as CafeCorner.Net, and created CafeContinent.Com in 2006. With a commitment achieved in the span of 10 years, we are experimenting on regional network plans in the future, and have already launched CafeLanka.Com for Sri Lankan chatters. We are also the first group to launch an IRC server dedicated for Sri Lankan people. We are currently focused on building a Bangladeshi IRC Network, and will be following up with Indian & Pakistani Networks.

Our early networks were run in our own personal machines, then in a couple of years later hosted online, and now even on a better standard, we run them on Dedicated Server lines, to meet user and network inflation.

We are still the same friends, in different jobs & professions, but now living in different countries, and until today attached by CafeContinent that we have created. Today we have new friends from all over the world who have joined our efforts, and we hope to grow as we go along.
