AusIRC originally started out as just an IRC server for Aus3D on Wednesday the 11th August 1999, with just 1 channel, #aus3d. It pretty much stayed that way with 1 or 2 other channels coming and going till mid 2001, when the Australian Q3F community moved from the oz.org network to setup their channels here. The network grew once again in 2002 with the release of RtCW. Channel counts continued to grow as the RtCW community set up their home on the network. | |
