Established in Auguest, 2004, 101-Freedom was started as a split away from the network Acidillusion, with the simple idea of providing users with a high quality IRC net and friendly staff. At present, we are a growing network with users of all ages and nationalities.. making it a 'global' community. Our staff of IRCops and HelpOps are there to ensure that our users have a hassle-free, enjoyable chat facility. There are established rules governing the behaviour of our staff and we try to maintain an equal balance of male and female opers. We welcome users from all chat environments whether they are long-time IRC users or complete newcomers.
101-Freedom has had its ups and downs in the past. From staff members leaving, channels leaving along with new staff and new channels. No one ever said running an IRC Network would be easy but we are doing our best to keep 101-Freedom up with the rest of the Networks on the internet | |
