Xp Pro IE late April Fool joke... wont launch mirc app!!!!!

How can this be fixed or corrected?!?

Who else getting this strangely error... this show up the other day was working. How do i reinstall xp pro ie?

Have you installed mIRC or other irc:// capable clients like Klient?

No I did install eMerge_v1b15.exe but I uninstalled it.

Without a client that knows what to do with the irc:// protocol, there isn't going to be much you can do.

I recommend downloading mIRC or Klient and trying again.

Yea I understand that I thought I made it perfectly clear that Mirc didnt do it before... meaning referring to Mirc app. Btw im am using Mirc ver 6.03 app just was trying other Irc apps so I guess eMerge_v1b15.exe what causing it to goofup. Well I didnt do a Xp pro reboot yet after I unstalled the Irc - eMerge_v1b15.exe, Ill try that next.

You didn't mention anything about mIRC in your original post Smile

Anyway, if eMerge caused a problem with associations, and the uninstall/reboot doesn't fix the problem, I'd recommend reinstalling mIRC to reset the association.

Okay thanx Jason, hate loss my xdccassist history log but I guess can rig back in. Yea jason your right about mirc wasnt mention,.. I assume most people use it seeing is thee best irc app out there. Havent booted my p almost a week now, so i guess about time give it a fresh boot. i post back the result later on today. Just very glad it isnt not a ie browser problems.
