i have an inactive ircd shell that i'm looking to park somewhere as a client server. it has good connectivity, i've been with the company for nearly ten years and haven't ran into any major problems. it can hold up to 1k users.
i'm thoroughly experienced in unreal and anope with a little bit of experimenting with bahamut and ircservices, although i know my way around unix well enough that i doubt any ircd would phase me for long. actually, i'd prefer a network that doesn't use the standard bag of anope and unreal.
only requirement on my side is that the server is stable, organized (network wide configurations, good staff/user ratio, website, etc.) and has users that are talkative. around 50+ users would be nice, but less is fine if the network is growing.
sorry if this was too long for its purpose... anyways send a pm or reply if interested. |

If you're in the US, we could really do with something like this. We're a UK based network but I'd say 60-70% of our users are Canadian and American. Network has about 30-40 users at peak, we have a nice website and only 2 staff.
it's inspircd-based, with anope (although we're due to switch services soon).

Interested in hooking up with irc.sleisysoft.net ? The website is in development right now, and it was all just built yesterday and has gotten about 5 users within the first day of advertising. I am the only staff/ircop, and the network uses srvx 1.3.1 services and running ircu2.10.12.12 ircd.
Linking requirements:
Must be willing to rename to *.ST.CNTRY.SleisySoft.net (Example: Gravity.CA.US.SleisySoft.net for California, USA based), and be willing to use a provided ircd.conf file.
Also, must be willing to update the conf, or give me access to update it occasionally.
Only 1 ircop (yourself), and optionally a second one as your co admin depending on your server size.. Additional ircops may be given support or network helper status and go through training stages. Visit me at irc.sleisysoft.net in #SleisySoft and pm me, DarkWarrior. |
