| They did have one a while ago. It was nowhere near enough of a hit to last. So they closed it. |

closed it and Jason now made everything automatic so

They didn't use a standard IRCd aswell as far as I can remember. There was the SearchIRC rooms, and those were they only ones you could /join as far as I remember?
What IRCd was it? |

| i'm pretty sure it was a hacked apart version of ircu no services /join and /msg didn't even work ..thats the way they wanted it. to avoid the conflict of interest with any network |

Not really, iirc it was that way to create a semi-hostile environment for those that wished/tried to establish a regular channel on their ircd where they only wanted it for IRC based support.
There would be no conflict of interest if they opened their own server to do their own support.
Regardless what the reason really was .. the fact remains that it's not in existance anymore, so the reason is rather moot. |
