Can I please have irc.mediadaemon.net (MediaDaemon removed from the listings here?

I turned it into a devel net, and I don't need it to be indexed.

My listing also attracted a botnet that is unwanted. :/

Thanks, I still love SearchIRC! I just don't need it on that network.

Simple answer. Just ban the crawler and then the listing will automatically go inactive.

Of course if you had looked, you would have found: http://searchirc.com/help.php?id=44

I will add a conf ban.

You only need to ban it once, the ban doesnt have to be permamnent. The crawler will then see its ban, mark the network as inactive, and then no longer crawl the network til it is reactiviated again.

A ban will prevent us from getting stats. The robot will also update the network info as saying it can't connect and why. But the robot will continue to try to connect till someone manually reviews networks we can't connect to and mark it as inactive. I usually only process that list once a month. The reasoning for this is that sometimes a network accidently bans the robot, or dns doesn't work for a short time... we don't want to automatically stop visiting.

Ok, thank you.

I added a conf ban, so it should stay banned now.
