Coming from a network where my users often forget slashes when identifying their nicks, or joining a passworded channel, we figured out a nice way to prevent this.

Simply create a spam filter that blocks:

msg nickserv identify
ns identify
nickserv identify

(etc)

This will obviously prevent any passwords from being stolen through a simple mistype. Although it's always suggested to type this in the status window, many users do not. If you feel your users don't really have this issue, ignore the post. However, it's a nice thing to implement regardless. Just a tip Smile
