I have chosen to start a network again, Addicted2Irc. A charter for the network and an Acceptable Use Polcy (AUP) have been ratified and will be posted on our website within the next few days. We run Bahamut for our network ircd along side atheme and neostats for services. We are not currently big enough to need any new servers since we are obviously just starting out, but welcome anyone who wishes to come.

We are a chat-oriented network and while we have no official policy at this time against any sort of warez/trading specific channels, we encourage users to create a chatting type environment channel.

LINKING: For future reference, linking of servers is done through the submission of an application by an individual who meets the requirements layed forth by the network administration. We will verify information in this application, and do performance-specific checks. A vote, called a Network Operations Vote (NOV) is lastly done in which ircops voice their comments and suggestions towards this vote, and all servers give their vote (by the server administrator or a person specified by that server's administrator to cast vote for that server). If approved, server is then linked to the network.

STAFF: Staff members are generally chosen by server administrators due to their dedication to helping users on the network and overall take of character. We do not specifically have a staff application, as we will not generally accept just anyone whom happens to wonder here and wants to become staff (wants an oline).
