Hi,
My name is Brett. I am looking for a job as either a IRCop or an Services Admin. I am expericenced in both and are looking for a place to call home. I would prefer to work on a networkwhere there are 25+ users(not all opers) and no warez. Please contact me at fumbalah[at]gmail.com if you would like to talk or just have somewhere for me to checkout. |

Wow...Im am surely impressed by those two posts before me. Spell Check, Grammer Check, REALITY check please to both of them. Anyway, about your offering. You might want to post more of your knowledge for people to respond, like what programming languages you know, what software you know, have you been IRCop before? Do you want IRCop to actually help or just have power, because of the request of having a bigger network i would actually think your wanting "power". Not to be assuming, but thats the impression I get, please elaborate more on why you would be better than the other million ircop posters out there.
Thank you
Daniel

Agreed. Especially the power part, I would have posted something like this if, except that that's not really how it's supposed to work. |

Pot calling the kettle black much?
What's in an apostrophe? Apparently not much.

Why is the c in 'check' capitalized? Trying to make a point? Hint: it's GRAMMAR, not grammer.

I'm sorry, I couldn't understand a word you just said because you missed about 5 critical articles in that would-be sentence.

That's the impression anyone would get, Daniel. This post is obviously not intended for networks that actually know what they're doing.

Yeah, admining a network sure requires a lot of experience...best of luck in your search, I guess? |

nocebo, you're new here (ie: you've been a member for less than 24 hours) yet you've already begun attacking people...
Read the rules next time before posting. |

| I really don't understand the grammer and spelling attack on me. If you look closely to their posts they mispelled a lot of words, and a lot of the stuff they said didn't make much sense, I was not attacking the poster, I just think if they want to join a serious network then they need to give a good impression on their first post. Either way, because of the maturity of this thread after I posted I refuse to take part anymore. |

I think that if people want to offer their services to networks thats great.
This post has just become an attack on each others grammar.
If are going to ask a stranger to be an IRCop on your network be careful. They might not be the person you thought them to be. I have some on my network who I thought I knew but once they became IRCops they were power hungry people. So its not just people that are new to your network sometimes people you thought were your friends can turn around to so always be careful making someone an IRCop they can do alot of damage if they are power hungry.
Regards,
amac |
